We've had some questions regarding the dimensions of the Tilt Hydrometer. How big is the Tilt Hydrometer? Will it fit in my fermentor? The device is 3 5/8 inches (92 mm) long by 1 1/8 inches (28.6 mm) in diameter. It is designed to fit in a typical carboy 6, 5, and some 3 gallon carboys. (Note that it will not fit in most 2.5 and 1 gallon carboys) Here are a couple pictures with a Quarter and an iPhone to give some perspective.
